Screening of the new Oslo film and Norwegian Oscar candidate Thelma, and a q&a with director Joachim Trier.  Experience the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Oslo synth punk artist Torgny, the Oslo artists Sexy Boyfriends, The Oslo World Music Festival, and Canadian hiphop artist Narcy. The Norwegian Magnum photographer Jonas Bendiksen will present The Last Testament.

SALT is a nomadic art project currently situated on Oslo’s shoreline, overlooking the city’s famous Opera House. On an area of 5000 square metres, SALT comprises several spectacular wooden constructions. Árdna  the world's lagest sauna), the fish rack The Arctic PyramidLanghuset and the cosy boat house Naustet make SALT a unique venue for cultural events, reflection and nightlife.

How to get there? It’s a 5 minutes walk from Oslo Central Station. Follow the harbor promenade in direction Vippetangen. The closest location on GPS is Langkaia 1.

Shoot Gallery and the Magnum photographer Jonas Bendiksen are presenting The Last Testament. Jonas Bendiksen has interviewed and photographed 6 men around the world who claim to be the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

We are lucky to have him at The Big O where he does a unique live set with uncompromising synth playing, fat beats, processed and natural vocal, and he has Eivind Henjum aka Sprutbass and with experimental  dancer Ida Wigdel  by his side.

Once a year, Oslo offers a free tour of it's culture life. Friday 15 of September you can experience Oslo's theatres, museums, music scene, films, dance and performance art, visual art scene, food trucks and historic sites.
